III.             PUBLIC HEARINGS             

A.                 V-08-2006:  1348 Laurie Lane (King); Variation and Findings of Fact

Plan Commission Action:  Recommend Variation with Conditions

Requests a variation from Section IV.J of the Village of Burr Ridge Zoning Ordinance to permit the erection of a fence that encroaches into the required corner side yard for the property at 1348 Laurie Lane.  

B.                 Z-24-2006:  15W457 91st Street (Kwilosz); Rezoning, Variation and Findings of Fact

Plan Commission Action:  Recommend Rezoning to the R-3 District

                                            Recommend Setback Variation for Detached Building be Approved

                                            Recommend Building Area Variation for Detached Building be Denied

Requests a rezoning from the R-1 Single-Family Residence District to either the R-3 Single-Family Residence District.  The petition also requests a variation from Section IV.H.3 of the Village of Burr Ridge Zoning Ordinance to permit a detached building to be located within the required side yard setback of 10 feet and a variation from Section IV.H.9.d(iv) to permit a detached building to exceed 750 square feet in area for a lot less than 20,000 square feet for the property located at 15W457 91st Street.

PLEASE NOTE: All recommendations from the Plan Commission are advisory and are submitted to the Mayor and Board of Trustees for their review and final action.  Any item being voted on at this Plan Commission meeting will be forwarded to the Mayor and Board of Trustees for consideration at their October 23, 2006 Regular Meeting beginning at 7:00 P.M.  The Plan Commission’s representative for the October 23, 2006 Board of Trustees meeting is Commissioner Cronin.
