Village residents are served by one of two park districts, each of which has its own elected Board of Trustees:

Library Services
Library services are available to some property owners in Burr Ridge that are located within the Indian Prairie Library District and all Burr Ridge residents may obtain a library card from either the Hinsdale or Indiana Prairie Library. There is a set fee for a card that may be used at any of the libraries in the Suburban Library System (call 325-6640 for details), as well as a Hinsdale Library card. An Indian Prairie Library card for non-district residents is based on the assessed valuation of their property. A current tax bill must be presented for the fee to be determined.
