Click here to learn more about the construction project. WATER BILLING SCHEDULE CHANGES Effective March, 2013, the Village will assume responsibility for performing water meter readings. DuPage County Public Works will no longer perform this function. To accommodate this modified arrangement, the Village meter reads will now be split into two cycles. Residents that receive their sewer bill from DuPage County will continue receiving their water bill in odd numbered months. Residents that receive their sewer bill from the Village or Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District will receive water bills in even numbered months beginning in June. Questions? Contact the Village Hall at (630) 654-8181, x. 4030. REMINDER REGARDING SOLICITORS All solicitors are required by Village Ordinance to register at the police department for a permit. If they are been approved, they will be issued identification, which must be worn & visible to all. The identification includes their photograph, along with their name and name of the organization. If you do not want to be disturbed by the solicitors, please make sure to display a “No Soliciting” sign by your door. The Village has them available for $3.00; feel free to pick one up at the Village Hall or Police Department. Please remember solicitors or telemarketers will sometimes use aggressive tactics in order to get a sale or a donation. Even if someone displays a valid permit, it does not mean you must open your door. As a safety precaution, please do not open the door. If you are not interested in what they are selling, ask them to leave. Per Village ordinance, if you have a sign, they are NOT permitted to disturb you! The Burr Ridge Police Department does not solicit in person or over the phone. Solicitors may falsely identify themselves as employees of the Burr Ridge Police Department. Please do not hesitate to call the Burr Ridge Police Department to verify any information. If you desire to make a donation, please contact the organization directly. If you wish to donate to the Village of Burr Ridge, or a specific department, please contact the Village Hall or our website for more information. The Village has a 501(c) (3) donation program to accept donations. VILLAGE ESTABLISHES DONATION PROGRAM The Village of Burr Ridge Burr Ridge has created a donation program and “Wish List” that identifies specific areas of need.
