Due to the ongoing stay-at-home order declared by Governor Pritzker related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) , the Village Hall is closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. The following service adjustments are temporarily in place:
- Building permits will be accepted and processed once per week. If a permit is ready to be issued, all documents will be communicated electronically. Permit processing will likely exceed the normal turnaround time. Please drop off and pick up all permits at the Village Hall vestibule.
- Building inspections will be scheduled normally.
- Garbage services through Groot will continue as normally scheduled.
Calls are being accepted through our general number, 630-654-8181, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All staff will be able to receive voicemails remotely if specific staff members cannot be immediately reached. Staff working remotely will also have routine access to email as normal. Please continue to refer to the Village website for additional information regarding COVID-19, daily updates, meeting updates, and additional information regarding the stay-at-home order. Sign up for E-Briefs and Nixle via the Village website for direct daily updates and emergency information.
All essential and emergency services remain in place, such as water and snow services and the Police Department. If you have an emergency, please call 911 and an officer will respond to your needs.
