Jingle Mingle is a family friendly event that includes: Live Reindeer on Display Brrrr Ridge Express Train Rides Interaction with Santa and Costume Characters Hot Cocoa & Yummy Treats Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Face Painters and much more! This dazzling night of lights and fun activities is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Pets welcome. Admission to the event is free; however, we are requesting two non-perishable food items per family. All donations will benefit the DuPage County Food Bank. Underground Storage Tank Removal Update A memo from Public Works Director/Village Engineer Paul May regarding the removal of the underground storage tanks, which occurred on November 7, is available for review at the Village Hall. Sale of Property Update A follow-up letter was sent this week to residents and property owners near the two parcels of land that the Village is selling, as well as Presidents of all Village Homeowners' Associations, updating them on the progress of this pending sale. October Building Report The Building Report for the month of October, prepared by Building & Zoning Assistant Julie Tejkowski, is available for review at the Village Hall. The report shows the following building permits issued during the month: 2 New Single Family Residential in the amount of $2,101,950 2 Residential Additions/Alterations in the amount of $38,325 0 New Non-Residential 3 Non-Residential Additions/Alterations in the amount of $1,723,286 A year-to-date grand total of 88 permits were issued for a year-to-date construction value of $38,996,565. Financial Information Reports October 2008 The Financial Information Reports for the month of October, prepared by Finance Director Jerry Sapp and Assistant Finance Director Lynette Zurawski, are available for review at the Village Hall. |
