Armed Forces Day will be held on Saturday, May 15th at the Burr Ridge Veterans Memorial, in front of the Village Hall. The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. The event will include Keynote Speaker Major General Robert Castellvi, Burr Ridge native and the Commander of the 1st Marines Division at Camp Pendleton and the awarding of the seventh annual Patriot's Award. This event is hosted by the Burr Ridge Veterans Memorial Committee.
All Covid 19 protocols will be in place. Attendees will need to wear a mask, and there will not be a reception this year due to Covid19. There will be a larger tent to allow for social distancing, and a few other adjustments to the usual program. All are welcome to attend.
