Armed Forces Day

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the resulting Governor's Executive Orders regarding social distancing and restricting large gatherings, we will not be able to hold this event as scheduled.  We are in the process of rescheduling something in the fall.  Please check back with us as we near the end of the summer!

Armed Forces Day will be held on Saturday, May 16th at the Burr Ridge Veterans Memorial, in front of the Village Hall.  The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m.  The event will include Keynote Speaker Major General Robert Castellvi, Burr Ridge native and the Commander of the 1st Marines Division at Camp Pendleton and the awarding of the seventh annual Patriot's Award. This event is hosted by the Burr Ridge Veterans Memorial Committee. For more information on the Veterans Memorial, go to:  For information regarding the Memorial Brick Program, click here.
