Annual Budgets

Annual Budgets & Budget in Briefs

The Village of Burr Ridge's annual budget for the fiscal year begins each May 1. The annual budget represents the financial plan of the Village for the coming fiscal year and also serves as the Village's financial policy document, operations guide, and communication device.

The annual "Budget in Brief" summarizes the amended and approved annual budget and highlights the Village's fiscal plans.  It can be considered a quick reference guide for the annual budget.

Community Survey
The Village regularly administers a community survey to gather community feedback on Village services and priorities. 
Consumer Confidence Reports
The Village of Burr Ridge, in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), distributes a Consumer Confidence Report each year. This report provides information about the quality and source of your drinking water. The village diligently monitors the water distribution system by taking a minimum of 10 samples for bacteriological testing each month. We are committed to providing the safest and most reliable water supply possible. 
Elected & Administrative Officials
Elected Officials
The Board of Trustees is the legislative body of government in the Village of Burr Ridge and comprises six Trustees. The Mayor, the chief executive officer, and the spokesperson for the Village chairs the meetings of the Board of Trustees. The Village Clerk serves as clerk to the Board of Trustees. The clerk's duties are to maintain the official records of the Village, attest to the Mayor's signature on documents, and act as deputy registrar of voters.

Financial Statements
The Audited Financial Statement is a financial report containing introductory, financial, and statistical information and the independent auditor's report, prepared after the village's annual audit.

The Village of Burr Ridge complies with the standards set by the State of Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5ILCS 140/1-140/11) that provides for the public to gain access to government records.
