Village Wins Two  Government Finance Officers Association Awards

We are thrilled to announce that the Village of Burr Ridge has received two prestigious awards from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), showcasing our commitment to excellence in financial management.

In addition to being awarded its 3rd consecutive GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, the Village has also been honored with the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report of the 2022 Fiscal Year. These awards recognize our commitment to financial accountability and transparency and represent the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. 

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Finance Department team and all participants for their hard work and dedication in earning these distinguished accolades. These awards reaffirm our commitment to prudent financial management and our focus on serving our community with utmost transparency and accountability.
